ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Increase your odds of success from the start
For 3-6 months, you’ll be be working directly with our general partners and extended team to co-found a company. After that, if everyone involved is excited with the direction the venture is taking, we will invest up to $250,000 to get the company growing, with the potential for further rounds as milestones are met.
THE IDEAL FOUNDER
We’re looking for amazing founders. Are you the one?
There are a few traits we have come to realize are key to building a successful company. Here are few of them:
Track record of starting, building companies or leading large scale projects from scratch (whether successful or not).
Proven leadership background including recruiting and articulating visions into actions.
Unrivalled knowledge in an industry you’re passionate about and insights on real problems to be solved.
Extreme focus on revenue generation (i.e. sales) and understanding of key functions like engineering, design, product or operations.
Bottomless drive and obsessive-like focus on solving (and finding solutions to) problems.
Uncanny ability to keep execution and topics quick and simple.

Do I need an idea or a company to apply?
No — we review and accept applicants as individuals (with or without a startup idea).
When should I apply?
No better time than now!
We usually select 10-15 new founders each year to work with and we try to launch a new company each month. The next one could be yours!
How does the selection of founders work?
Our recruiting team reviews all applications and will reach out to the applicants who would be strong candidates for either the Founder-in-Residence or the Launcher role at Next Bold Ventures, or at a role with one of our early-stage portfolio companies.
From there, calls or meetings with General Partners at NVB will ensue. Finally you will be invited to an in-person working session at our office.
Where do you operate?
We’re currently focusing on the Asia Pacific market, giving preference to high-growth markets such as Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia.
Do I need to move to one of the countries you operate in?
Yes, if you are selected to be a Founder-in-Residence or Launcher at Next Bold Ventures you will need to relocate to one of the countries where we operate.
Will I get compensated while working as a Founder at Next Bold Ventures?
Yes, all founders get a salary, equity, and benefits package.
