The secret sauce: our blueprint.

Over the past decade, our team has built and scaled +15 companies across Europe and South East Asia. We’ve operated in e-commerce when it was still nascent, we’ve built D2Cs, service-focused ventures and O2Os.

We’ve had many failures but also learnt how to build multimillion dollar businesses – and unicorns too.

We’ve taken everything we’ve learned and crafted a process for scaling ideas and exiting businesses, which we provide to our portfolio companies. We’ve learned what to do and not do, so you don’t have to.

We’re not easy to work with – we ask lots of questions, we take nothing for granted and keep pushing for momentum.

But we’re also great fun.

We invest:

Early

We’re day 1 investors. This means we’re primarily interested in seed funding — sometimes Series A too. We’re set on helping you scale from zero to one.

Outside of the Valley

The Valley is great – but the Rest of the World is even better. We love working with founders in markets we know: Asia (where we’re based), Europe and everywhere in between (where we’ve lived and worked).

In visions with tech at the heart

We like ideas that seek to meet the needs of a unaddressed market or that aim at improving the way incumbents currently service the market. Either is fine, as long as technology (new or “old”) at the heart of the competitive edge.

Most founders we work with are just making their first real attempt at building something solo. Suddenly they’re in charge of everything — including many things beyond their core expertise.

Lack of experience halts a company’s momentum, and every new challenge seems to pose a threat to sales and product strategy, funding options and runway. It’s not easy – we know, we’ve been there.

Your needs

In the beginning founders need a sounding board to mature and identify ideas. Once they’re working on their MVP, they’ll often need help (technical or non-technical) to bring their idea to life and test customer acquisition.

From there, the game changes and founders become a sales machine, working tirelessly to find investors while building traction – all on an incredibly tight budget.

And once they do manage to get funding… the pressure piles on to bring in key team members who is fully aligned with the goals of the company (often around sales or distribution partnerships).

This is usually where we add the most value, while you’re too small to seasoned advisors or consultants but got big ambitions and potential to fulfill. We’re there, fully committed to the founder’s needs.

We provide seed funding from $25k to $150k and often follow through into Series A.
